On-Line Energy Conservation Analysis
Click here to take advantage of our on-line Energy Conservation analysis. This is an educational, interactive tool. You will be able to:
- Review your Profile: Customer billing history is analyzed in conjunction with answers to an on-line survey regarding business energy systems and practices. A Business Energy Profile report specific to you is generated.
- The Energy Library contains more detailed and specific information to address your energy questions and help explain your personal energy savings recommendations. The Library contains sets of energy fact sheets categorized by system or appliances.
- The Energy Advisor is an e-mail capability that allows you to receive answers to energy questions not found through the Energy Library or other on-line resources. All messages/inquiries will be answered by a Cobb EMC employee.
- Buy computers, printers, scanners and copiers that bear the federal government's Energy Star® label. The label guarantees that the machine uses electricity efficiently.
- Buy multi-function machines rather than stand-alone copiers, faxes and scanners.
- Save energy by setting your computer to “sleep” mode when you leave for an extended period of time.
- Use your desktop lamp.
- Recycling paper reduces water use, energy and pollution.
- Use compact fluorescent lamps to save energy and cut pollution.
- For three copies or less use the printer; for more, use the copier.
